Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI walk by a news stand and saw the headline from USA today. USA today has always been
A gossip rag with a right wing slant. The headline said wen push Romney ahead, and it dawned on me this is bullshit
They are trying to push a talking point
There are 35 million single women out there who won't be voting for Romney and weren't included in there poll I am sure
I am not sure what game is getting played, but with the polls all over the place it tells me there sampling is screwed up
I am confident that we are going to win
Role do not turn that quickly on a dime
Something doesn't smell right especially since nothing had really changed
I wonder what these so called smart people will say when the GOP loses, what excuse they will justify

(3,526 posts)....Democrats are going to be less enthusiastic than Republicans, which does happen to be the meme being propagated by GOP operatives.
Okay, let's also say hypothetically the pollster calls 1000 women and records 500 Democrats, all voting for Obama, and 500 Republicans, all voting for Romney. The pollster claims all 500 GOP voters will definitely vote before or on Election Day because the pollster believes they're "highly motivated". But, because the pollster thinks Democrats will be less enthusiastic and less motivated, he or she claims only 95% of the 500 polled will actually vote for Obama.
That allows the pollster to claim 500 women Likely Voters for Romney and 475 women Likely Voters for Obama.
Admittedly, this is a highly simplistic scenario but do you see how that works?
