WV should be shut out of the infrastructure funding

It is such a partisan issue, we should help their Senators by removing those funds. It will help them when they speak to their fiscally conservative republican constituents.

1. We're gonna need to lavish money on WV and AZ in that bill.

Unless, of course, we can be convinced to spend the money in Alaska instead.

4. Biden's agenda is now dead in the water. Manchin's life must be made a living hell.

Fill the streets of WV with protestors this summer, fire his wife from her cushy six figure WH job, and investigate his daughter for price gouging on EpiPens.

Heís not going to switch parties- he has filed for re-election and canít win the GOP primary.

Note to jurors:

If this was 1960, would you vote to hide posts disparaging Strom Thurmond and George Wallace, Democrats who supported Jim Crow?

6. Johnson and Senate majority had powers that no longer exist

Among other things, the Senate no longer has earmarks, which allowed the president, party leadership and committee chairs to mete out funding based on who did and didn't play ball. Funding is allocated mostly through formula.

That power no longer exists - largely as a result of people demanding that earmarks be eliminated because they weren't fair ...
