9. 7! Damn!

I just retired from a pediatric practice where I worked for just shy of 25 years, and maxed out at 4 weeks. And a max of 2 sick days.

10. Well, 5 weeks vacation. After 20 years as a salaried employee.

And 10 holidays which I mainly work due to the nature of our business and get that take when I want. Plus 10 sick days which I seldom use. . So not 7 weeks vacation but 7 weeks paid off. I’ve got 35 years.

And know why? My company has significant European branches and decided to equalize the entire company! So I can thank the French, Germans and others for my time off

The company decided that we are more productive when we get down town. You’d be surprised at the numbers of people who don’t take them. To the point executives have started getting pressure to make their employees take the time. Certainly not me! Americans are crazy.

What I found odd is that Chris said he was having an extended program and did not mention that she was off.
