Anyone Notice All The White People Standing Behind Abbot When He Signed The Heartbeat Bill In Texas?

Nothing but white people.

What's up with that?

White on white.

Pure white.

And I wonder how many of them adopted some of the 5 million children who need homes in America right now?

What we need is millions more children that no one will take care of properly, because they can't or know they won't.

I like the part of the bible where Jesus talks about attacking women, but not men. I just can't find it.

2. I noticed that, and I also noticed the WOMEN standing there too.

Most likely republican women. A disgrace and a stain on womanhood. How can any woman in her right mind be a republican?

The whole situation is disgusting.

3. How can any woman be a Republican?

I have wondered the same thing countless times myself, Peggy.

They must be brainwashed, is all I can come up with.

6. Greetings to you as well, Peggy!

My sister and I grew up in the same house and yet she’s an anti-choice conservative and I’m a liberal. How does this happen?

11. I wonder if these are women who

had infertile marriages and adopted, or if this was the situation for someone close to them. For a long time after Roe, I heard a lot of complaining that white babies were in short supply.

Besides, Texas is heavily Catholic or fundamentalist. They have rules to follow; critical thinking was done by someone else.

13. There were very few women in the picture -- but they were front and center

This was the typical antichoice bill brought on by old white men to keep women in their places.

They ALWAYS put a few women in the front of the phot op so that unless you look closely at the back rows that you would think that a large amount of support came from women.

The sad part is that McConnell has likely won -- he put three crazy people on the court including two who should have been appointed by Dems -- specifically for this reason.

14. I always wonder about that too, are they beaten into submission or what. Most likely

totally brainwashed. Rupert Murdoch does a great job with his insane News Mouthpieces. IMO he's responsible from much of the insanity in the US.

4. I surprised he didn't sign that law excluding brown and black fetuses.

They really, don’t want any white fetuses aborted.
Still, even if they could get their way, they wouldn’t lift a finger to help those white babies beyond their births.

18. Yep, aren't they cute? It's so much better to watch young kids die from neglect, abuse and

starvation because these well off jerks refuse to fund programs that might improve their lives. I say we haul all those guys out for forced vasectomies and make the women commit to take in a minimum of 10 kids each.

12. I can't think of much good that's come from the white, Christian patriarchy.

And in our country it's on steroids. Toxic, vile belief system. White, Christian men get to decide everything.

If they can take your choice away & force you to carry a pregnancy to term, they can go the other way, too & force you to abort. That's never talked about cuz no one ever thinks that's where these people would take it. But they're not about right to life, they're about right to some life. Some life has more rights than others—white, Christian men being at the top. But once you put life in a hierarchy, your right to life argument just lost all credibility. But they aren't the sharpest tacks in the pack, so they're easy to dupe.

Authoritarianism is on the rise all over the world. Our species stands on an ecological brink, largely due to the policies of rich, (mostly) white men, & still, so many people think they still deserve to be in power, making decisions that affect us all.

Oh, and Texas executed a man on the same day, too, while chortling about right to life. These people make me fucking sick.

16. I have a few Trumpers in my extended family

& the one who is religious is the most vile of them. Vile & outspoken & hateful. Every time he writes about the left or the dems he use a derogatory adjective before. The angry, hateful, lying, radical, unhinged, violent left. Those are his go-to adjectives.

17. The hatefulness in the US is amazing ... and much of it sounds as if from mentally disturbed

individuals. So much of it is delusional and irrational.

19. All I know is when red states make it totally

Illegal after supreme court is done, it will hurt people without the funds to go to a blue state.

I am positive anywhere on the west coast and many in east coast will have that option but its a long distance for many with no money.

Of course since most republican leaders are hypocrites they will have no problem getting abortions for their family, friends and girlfriends.

Hoping the youth will rise up like we did many years ago.

21. It's the lousy bill, the low-life Republican legislature and Abbott himself that deserve the scorn

Not the color of the sycophants he surrounded himself with for his photo op. The bill would not have been made any easier to swallow if he had surrounded himself with Native Americans and black folks. In fact, that would have been even more cynical.

Mostly men.
