DeSantis' gambling pact allows a Trump Casino in Miami.

The Florida legislature is reconvening this week for a special session for the sole purpose of considering the 30-year gambling pact DeSantis negotiated with the Seminole tribe. The headline news is that the pact would legalize sports betting and guarantee at least $500 million a year in revenue for the state in the first 5 years. The pact also has a series of special provisions related to just Broward and Miami-Dade counties that have the effect of allowing Trump to establish gambling operations at his Doral property.

Eric Trump was talking about this in the last year but has been quiet lately. Somebody told him to STFU?

1. The Democrtas need to focus on Desantis

Even if he does nto run for president, he is an example of everything wrong with Trump. Start the propagande engine now, not like you do not have 60 a day worth of dead bodies to film, and lots of grieving relatives.

10. I agree with getting rid of DeSantis

But Iím confused about the casinos. It says the Seminole Trimble is negotiating a 30 year contract. Trump wants one on his personal property? I guess it two separate things.

2. How many casinos would this make?

they say the house always wins, but not in Donald's case. The state won't see any money, and neither will the house.

6. The Trump family did very well by his bankruptcies.

They siphoned off a lot of money via consulting fees, licensing fees, and inflated salaries. Shareholders, bondholders, and contractors were the ones that got screwed.

16. His voter suppression bill served no purpose other than kissing Trump's ass.

Trump won the state easily, Florida was one of the first states to finish their count, and there were no lawsuits. DeSantis patted himself on the back at the time. Soon after, Trump amped up his complaints about "voter fraud" and DeSantis jumped on the voter suppression train, advocating for SB 90.
