Went to the bank, the post office, an auto repair shop, and the liquor store

this morning, all with my mask on. All four places still have signs requiring masks. Workers in those places are also masked.

My intention is to continue wearing a mask, even though I am a month past my second Moderna shot. No reason not to, frankly, and I'm used to doing so.

require them. After that I’ll likely go without them unless I’m in a crowded area in a state with low vaccination rates.

The vaccine helps your body respond faster, but does not completely prevent the infection like a magic bubble.

1 in 10,000 chance. Some are comfortable with those numbers, some are not.

We all should look at the data, listen to the experts then make the decision we think best.

His administration are the ones changing the rules. I’ve followed the guidelines religiously.

We have been heading to this inevitable point since it became apparent that too many Americans will refuse the vaccine to totally illuminate it from society. At this point they are the ones that masking and distancing are protecting. How long should we go before we stop protecting them? Even in another 2 months lots of states will not have a 50% vaccination rate. If the goal is herd immunity before we stop masking and distancing it will never happen. All to protect the idiots among us.

Shockingly my county is one of the leading county in the state despite being pretty red. Over 50%.

I was curious about Publix today and if everyone would still be in masks. And if the still have the sign up requiring mask. They did and everyone was still masked.

the CDC recommendations. Most people do not follow the news at all. The mask has become commonplace. There's no compelling reason to immediately follow those recommendations. Once the word gets out, the signs will start coming down and you'll see more people not wearing masks. For now, mask-wearing remains the norm.

I don't like to stand out, frankly. I prefer to be as anonymous as possible in public places.

I don't get all this drama about masks. I've worn one since early days. If someone has looked at me strangely, I'm unaware of it, and I couldn't care less if they do. I've never seen one single mask drama anywhere I've gone, and I travel to different states quite frequently.

But I did get Covid. It was awful. Vaxxed completely after tomorrow, but I'll keep my mask on indoors in public.

I don't want to get an asymptomatic case and spread it, even with the lesser chance of spread from fully vaccinated me.

Only 43% of locals and 37% statewide have been fully vaccinated. If that figure were 75 or 80% I might feel different. Too many people are still landing in the ICU and in the morgue from COVID-19.

Its not a big deal to carry one around and comply. I have to wear a shirt and shoes also, so why not a mask.

I have 2 shots of Pfizer in me, I can walk around w/out a mask now according to the CDC, so I do. But I always keep one in my pocket, just in case.

I find people who cry about masks as if its some form of tyrrany have profound levels of immaturity and self-interest.

One of the many side effects of masks is, these tantrum throwing children out themselves so its easy to identify and avoid those creeps.
