Will the Republican support of COVID-19 backfire?

This seems like a Darwin Award situation. True, Republican support of the virus through vaccine avoidance harms humanity in general, not just the Republicans who are the disease's allies. But Republicans who volunteer to host the disease and aid it in its attacks on humanity should, in theory, be the ones to be disproportionately affected. Are Republicans engaging, in other words, in the ultimate form of Republican voter suppression?

One can only hope they all fucking expire. SOON.

I'm so old I remember when some hippies wondered if the Vietnam War was really a case of "thinning the herd" of its overpopulation of baby boomers. Today they would probably wonder about the former guy's depraved indifference toward the deadly pandemic and the widespread GQP sociopathic pandemic denial as well as the GQP continually pushing for more unregulated guns on the streets despite the already horrific levels of U.S. gun violence.
