I hate needles! I got my polio vaccine on a sugar cube. That was quite popular with us kids.

In fact, data in animals on currently available nasal vaccines have shown a very robust local response that can often protect against other classes of respiratory pathogens from taking hold given non-specific immune cells (dendritic and others) are stimulated even before T-cell and antibody development. This could be a big boon to the containment of future variants--and even potentially pose some benefit for therapy.

That would be a huge improvement, especially if it doubles as a therapeutic.

Unlike RNA vaccine technology, which is genuinely new, intranasal vaccines using either attenuated or replication-impaired viruses have been around for awhile. Intranasal flu shots in particular have been around for at least a decade. To my knowledge, there's no evidence they provide better protection than traditional intramuscular shots, or that they impart to humans some kind of broad resistance to respiratory pathogens in general.

These are speculative talking points from pharma companies. The real selling points are more practical: don't need extreme refrigeration, don't need to be administered by a nurse, no needles, etc.

human intranasal flu vaccine. While these models exist they have not been used for coronaviruses AND will also be integrating non-traditional vaccine development methods. YES, they absolutely WILL be incorporating cutting-edge technology. Not your dog's Bordetella IN vaccine by ANY MEANS!

so I’m use to it. It all comes down to needle size. I use a smaller gauge one than my my doc does and it makes it much better.
Hope the pill works out.

stomach acid. After 20 years, I’m use to it. I can even go left handed and hit the left cheek.
Bet it’s less painful than a bikini wax.

We've got a lot of "dead weight" keeping us from evolving as a species to the next step towards whatever. Maybe we don't share with idiots and anti-science people.

U Pitt Medical had a patch that was razer sharp sugar with the spike protein on top that triggered the immune response in your capillaries, but they shelved it and partnered with Moderna to grab the easy cash.
