Not wishing to draw attention to myself re: charitable donations for India, but

these are our brothers and sisters in humanity. I just made one to the Hope Foundation, now, on 04 May, my mother's birthday. Her birthday actually slipped my mind with all the current stress.

Eternal Memory, Mom.

7. Thank you.

I used your link and found Oxfam because they took PayPal and made a donation. Glad you encouraged me!

10. Good job! I nearly chose Oxfam, but Hope Foundation was 1st choice.

I was moved to deep sorrow watching the report earlier.

And to help our brothers and sisters who are suffering in India.

Thanks for pointing this out and for the suggestion!

14. Thanks so much, sweetie!

She was my Dad's older sister, had just one daughter who was a little younger than me so we grew up together, the closest thing I had to a sister. She was my first babysitter and shared my Dad's sense of humor. I miss her...

11. So thoughtful of you to remind all of us about this diaster in the other

part of the World. It's easy to get caught up in what's happening here and not think about the suffering in other places. Thank you!

15. I'm guilty as charged. 2nd gen. American. Spoilt. I've got it good regardless.

"Easy to get caught up." Deception.

I grieve daily for my past life. I should've used more discernment. I was offered insight how to conduct my life, but looks like I willfully ignored that leading. Squandered gifted time, money... Woe unto me.

18. The leaders of their country should be trashed.

Not a lot unlike the leaders of another country we know......

My opinion:

Their leaders have sat on their collective butts, positioned and living at the top of their "class" system, doing nada to prepare for over a year. They knew it would hit their country big time at sometime in the future.

Their leaders were all focused on spending all their time and money trying to advance their nuclear weapons program.

No matter what is done now, it will be a matter of too little, too late.....Instead of manufacturing vaccine to sell to other countries, they should have been building humongous stockpiles and vaccinating their own people. All 1.2 Billion of them, most living in unfathomable poverty and crowded living conditions. They should have stockpiled PPE, O2, and respirators. As well as building massive care facilities with beds and other necessities.....

Sadly, it is how the Trump adminstration reacted, but worse considering the scale of their impending nightmare.

continued physical and emotional stress.

I don't achieve restorative sleep.

Feel like I'm on a hamster wheel.

30. I had an appointment with the primary care doc, but needed to cancel.

I have other medical options. So there's that. Physically, I'm nearly spent a lot. Then it in turn alters my mental well-being.

I do have moments of joy/gladness.

Stuff keeps going sideways on me and that takes a toll. I'm tackling tax teturns now and have an aversion to that kind of activity. But I make myself get it done. Once accomplished, I have peace. It's been 2 years of dealing with husband's death, the legalities of it. This is what wearies me.

You show lovingkindness to me. 💛

31. I am concerned. These first years of the grief process are so dark. But they do pass.

I recently went through an enormously stressful period, which thankfully has passed. But I found Ashwaghanda helped. It's over the counter and you can get it in any good health food store. For me it evened out my mood, helped me to sleep, you can just take it when you need it, and had no side effects. And from what I read it was very safe.

I take very few drugs, so I'm very susceptible to their effects, but I found this worked well for me to help me on those days.

My son's doctor is first generation US-born. He takes his family back every couple of years. He's one of the smartest people I've ever met.
Helping India through this is a worthy cause.
