Chuck Toad and MSNBC go back to Beaver County PA for about the 1000TH time

So sick of this shit.

I drive through Beaver County quite often. You can't swing a stick there without hitting a racist, Donnie Dipshit ass-kissing, warm beer-swilling fuckstick bragging about how good his sister is in bed.

It's a FUCKING shithole, Dumbfuckistan Murika hellscape of ignorance, misogyny, racism and hatred.

In fact, in may be the Dumbfuckistaniest Dumbfuckistan place in the entire world.

I traveled all over the world during almost 30 years in the Navy. If God were going to give the world an enema, he'd be hard-pressed to decide to stick the nozzle in Karachi, Pakistan, or Beaver County PA.

Of course, Chucky and MSNBC just had to go there to see if Joe Biden's high approval and favorability ratings were "really true".

Guess what? In Beaver County PA, Joe's not very popular.

Of course, Pet Rocks, Deep-fried Butter and Faux News are highly popular.

Hell, two months after his stinking, rotting corpse is being turned into maggot feed, Zombie Rush Limbaugh is still the #1 Radio Show.

Seriously, an ignorant shithead hosting a show that is still called the Rush Limbaugh Show, talks to Beaver County residents, and then goes back into the archives to play old clips of the bloviating blowhard talking about "The Clenis".

I have a suggestion for Chucky.

If he really thinks Beaver County PA deserves "one-fuck" from the rest of America, he should go live there. I mean, really immerse yourself Chuck. Don't just visit. Buy yourself a little shack, or a double-wide trailor and join the "good old boys" down at the local watering hole.

It's the place with the Donnie Dipshit and Confederate Flags out front.

... other GOP voters don't live in. Who takes Chuck Todd seriously, anyhoo?

6. Beaver County is north and west of Pittsburgh and hugs the state lines of West Virginia and Ohio.

The people there embrace being Pennsyltuckians as much as anybody living between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, and the OP pretty much nails the mindset of most of the county's denizens. Unfortunately, that mindset is quite popular throughout western Pennsylvania.

Too many of our neighbors embrace Trump, stupidity, and cruelty like the pillows they used for practice-kissing their cousins when they were teenagers. It's no wonder these idiots grew up to be virus-huggers. Last week, I saw a state health department map showing levels of "vaccine reluctance." You know what one of the worst counties was? Beaver Fricking County.

Sadly, we know this to be true also from family experience. My wife's one uncle, in his seventies, answered our urgings for him to take the shot with a reply of, "I don't know...I don't know..." then goes off spouting some obscure Biblical shit that's barely tangental to the whole situation. His one son, who DID take the first shot, refused to get the second shot because a nurse he works with told him "it" (the vaccine) is known to grow extra toes. And did I tell you this son works in a nursing home?

4. It's close to Pittsburgh. They should talk to people in Pittsburgh instead.

I grew up in Steubenville, OH which is pretty close to there.

Could not get out of that backward town fast enough.

This is an area so adoring a hate drenched past that they will still openly glare at mixed race couples.

9. 7 out of 10 voters in Beaver County would vote against Jesus Christ himself

if he ran as a Democrat, and then would gleefully attend an MSNBC hosted "Focus Group" to explain how Jesus was "out of touch" with "real God".

"Love your neighbor"? What's next? Allow a black family to move in next-door?

Funny how they never go into a place like Pittsburgh to talk to Democratic voters.

It's not like they should be hard to find. There were 8 million more of them, than those that voted for Donnie Dipshit

Listening to these Beaver County Retrumplicans reminds me of what my mother used to say; "this is why we can't have nice things".

would be Lordstown, Ohio. Where the GM plant closed. Where Donny told everybody he was bringing back manufacturing and not to sell their homes.

Drive through there on any given day and scratch your head at how many dumbasses still display their Trump crap. They also get WAY too much attention from the national media, as well, as if they speak for “ the Heartland”.

I think all the smart people left.

A few Democrats and sane people, but overall a bunch of ignorant high school fucked up dropout redneck Racists live there.

I'd say 70-30 in Qanon favor.

Not representative as PA as a whole - Pittsburgh metro area which is 30 miles away has millions of Biden supporters - in the majority here at least 60-40.

AND We outnumber those rednecks pennsyltuckians in Beaver County by a country mile.

Chuck Todd is the WORST ass kissing TV talking head out there. He needs a reality enema.

They do have a nice pastry shop in town though. Daughter lived in the township in a development on 7 Oaks golf course. She just finished moving to another district. The reason she moved was because the school for her son sucked in Beaver township, so she moved to a district that has one of the best schools in the state.

I love the image and language you use. When I was in college their was a guy who could spin swear words into a beautiful tapestry of awesomeness. We would sit spell-bound when he described someone/something. His stories of drinking and whoring became legendary at the college.

Yes, I'm familiar with Beaver County with relatives living there. Rural people with deep suspicions about anyone they don't know.

23. Beaver County, to its credit,

voted for Mondale in 1984. (Yes, I looked that up.)

Silly me, when the media talks about how the Democrats betrayed the working man, the first thing I think of is, "What about the 1984 election?" That election, so often described as a re-coronation of St. Ronnie, may well have been the last chance to save a lot of the blue collar jobs people get so moony about nowadays. So when places that are like Beaver County vote for Trump so he can demand "our" (!!!) jobs back, I think wow, you're thirty years too late.

25. Gee, and here I was thinking the anus of the world was tied between AL and GA!

The root causes of this problem:

No fairness doctrine, and Republican deregulation of news media outlets, which used to have to be owned and operated locally, offer 1 hour of news with half national, and present conflicting viewpoints fairly.

The doctrine of shareholder primacy, which has led to the Buckley vs Valeo Supreme Court decision in 1976 that opened the floodgates to 'soft money,' and made money 'free speech.'

This doozy was followed in 1978 by the horrible ruling in First National Bank of Boston v. Bellotti, where the Supreme Court recognized a corporate right to free speech.

The Republican power strategy of using the filibuster to obstruct all progress, and then winning elections based on Democrats 'not being able to get anything done.'

Structural Republican cheating in the form of gerrymanders and voter suppression tactics.

So there you have it. If you want to explore these things more, I recomment Thom Hartmann's book on the Hidden History of Oligarchy in the United States. In fact, he seems to have a whole series of these 'hidden history' books. And, of course, don't forget your Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Naomi Klein, Robert Reich, Paul Krugman, and Thomas Picketty's relatively new Capitalism and Ideology.

And, after you've read all this and know the truth - SHARE that truth all over social media, let your US Congressperson and Senators KNOW that you know the truth, and make sure you are set up to vote. The only thing that will help us get the republic back once and for all is landslide Democratic votes.

30. Well, I actually live in Beaver County, and it is not quite as bad as portrayed by maxrandb.

I have lived here for 45 years and other than a large number of "keep it to a whisper" racists it was never too bad. The election of Obama however changed our County. The racism came out into the open and the gun nut religious types became more vocal. The election of Trump has made it worse. Our local PA State Congressman (GOP) who represents the far western half of Beaver County and a good sized chunk of Washington County (redneck country) won re-election by a 7-3 margin overall, but was 6-4 in Beaver County.

Beaver is a pretty nice place to live, real estate is reasonable, as are taxes. At one time, probably 75% of workers in the county were unionized steel workers, until most of plants closed in the early 80's. J&L in Aliquippa employed 15,000 people during the 70's, there are maybe 500 left there now and most of the plant has been razed. There were at least 20 different steel related plants in the 70's, and most of them are gone now too. It is disappointing that so many union men have turned to the GOP since that has happened.

I really blame Trump for how this county has turned out now. The latent racism and hatred of minorities and social programs was always there, but that asshat persuaded people to come out and just act like assholes. Most people are still polite and friendly, I steer clear of the obvious nut jobs and I have dropped friends from my circle because of their political beliefs. Some of these people I have know for well over 30 years, but it does not bother me a bit to avoid them.
