Pardoning Nixon unleashed a crimewave among Rethug Presidents Ray-gun, Bush, and Trump.

Ford's pardon of Nixon enabled an above-the-law attitude that still resonates today.

Imagine if Nixon had been prosecuted and imprisoned, how much differently presidents would conduct themselves in office today.

Bush's Iraq war crimes. (would Bush have committed these war crimes if he feared prosecution? doubtful)

Putin and Trump colluding to pull off a modern day Watergate.

Trump's call for sedition.

Indict. Prosecute. Imprison.

So that the cycle of criminal wrong-doing stops when they are frogmarched into a cell and those bars slam home.

Their criminality withers when the fear of prosecution exists.

(And BTW, Garland is one smart cookie. To indict Trump, start with his henchmen, Ghouliani. Build a case from the inner circle that will lead directly to Trump.)

Give US AG Garland time to build his case. Stay patient. Indictments are coming.

Another salute to President Biden for a great choice, Merrick Garland-US Attorney General.

Prosecute Trump so that we halt presidential criminality in the future.

Simple concept. Effective results.

while feeding them a natural, uncured meat stick will make them a person's BFF like, forever.

All jokes aside, Shelties are incredibly intelligent dogs. As a kid, my neighbor ran a large dairy farm. He had 2 Shelties. Those dogs were my faves. Each evening, they would round up the herd of dairy cows and gently guide them to the barn for their 6PM milking. Point is, the dogs coordinated the roundup and were very gentle with the cattle herd. It shows their intelligence. Just a fun story from way back..

I also fully agree with your reply. GOP pardons enable them.

El Donno pardoned Libby seemingly as soon as he could.

On December 30, 2003, three months after the start of the Plame investigation, Fitzgerald was appointed Special Counsel. Through this, Fitzgerald was delegated "all the authority of the Attorney General" in the matter. In February 2004, Acting Attorney General Comey clarified the delegated authority and stated that Fitzgerald has plenary authority. Comey also wrote "further, my conferral on you of the title of 'Special Counsel' in this matter should not be misunderstood to suggest that your position and authorities are defined and limited by 28 CFR Part 600."

On October 28, 2005, Fitzgerald brought an indictment for 5 counts of false statements, perjury, and obstruction of justice against Lewis "Scooter" Libby, U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney's Chief of Staff. Libby resigned to prepare for his legal defense.

They have a real racket going on. They need each other in power to pardon their future crimes against this country that they could care less about.

Thank you for that reply. So chillingly true. Exposes their true evil intent.

Instead of learning their lesson and cleaning up their act after the Nixon debacle, it does appear that the lesson they learned was that they could be as corrupt as they wanted and simply hand out pardons to their gang whenever they managed to get their snake into the WH (with the help of Russia or anybody else looking for "favors" ).
