I personally don't wish ill upon Nugent, but I am indifferent to his suffering. His support of stupid ideas about the COVID-19 virus, against vaccination, and masks or other safety protocols, has certainly lead to supporters failing to take proper precautions to beat back the pandemic. It has likely caused lives. So, him getting sick is a consequence of his cavalier attitude. Him getting sick, maybe (not likely) will serve as a warning to other idiots who doubt the severity of the situation we are still in. I know it will do little to nothing to humble the man so there isn't anything there to comment on. Conservatives cannot function without fear of some kind of existential threat. They have no coherent ideology so they have to instigate animosity in order to have a purpose.
