Remarks by President Biden in Press Conference, March 25, 2021
I predict to you, your children or grandchildren are going to be doing their doctoral thesis on the issue of who succeeded: autocracy or democracy?
Weve got to prove democracy works.

(33,513 posts)...great Presidents have followed our most disastrous ones.
Trump was the worst President since James Buchanan, and I think we all agree that he does something to raise both Buchanan and Andrew Johnson from the title of worst of the worst.
I had my doubts that at his age Joe Biden could match his predecessors in undoing the damages of a horrid Presidency. I can cheerfully say that I was wrong.

in the middle of this esteemed group is a fifth portrait in a place of honor over the fireplace: Franklin D. Roosevelt. Biden, who will be the last president who lived during FDRs momentous era, deeply admires our 32nd president, and it shows in both his style and way of governing.
