What if you said you were an Evangelical handing out Holy water to those waiting in voting lines

and it actually was holy water - you had it blessed for real.

That brings a completely different dimension to attempts to regulate it.

Could they stop you from handing out Bibles to those waiting in line?

1. Perhaps I'm mistaken

but holy water is for external use only. Not to be taken internally.

3. There's holy water and then there's water which is holy.

The water from Lourdes is ingested, and is supposedly holy, but is not liturgical holy water.

4. What do you do with all of the thirsty non-Christians?

I thought selling the water would be a possibility. You know, 5 or 10 cents a bottle. You would not be giving it away.

7. Evangelicals don't believe in holy water. They believe in the Holy Bible.

Just sayin...

8. I think if you are not soliciting votes, you are good.

Iím sure some areas will abuse law, but there are ways around such BS.

15. That was my thought too

A penny buys you a bottle of water and a snack. It's free enterprise baby!

13. If this law isn't overturned, I see it as an opportunity for Democrats. Since you can't hand

out water or snacks while voters are in line, how about a fleet of vehicles that keep moving across the street from the end of the line handing out tote bags containing water and snacks? Voters would pick them up before getting in line and they would certainly know it was the Dems handing them out, not the anti-democratic GOP who would prefer to see them keel over in line and be carted off so they can't vote. Our only hope is to overcome all of their obstacles and vote them - to a person - out of office. This is something I would certainly donate to and if I weren't so far away I'd volunteer to pack the bags with goodies.

14. Yes! And Krishna devotees could do the same

Cooling water, soothing water, homeopathic sacred Ganges water

Citing religious freedom laws and the fact that Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita, 'I am the taste of water' (as well as the essence of other things.)

Giving water is giving God and God is second only to guns in the USA.
