newish slang term: MILKSHAKE DUCK**WHAT DOES MILKSHAKE DUCK MEAN?
A Milkshake Duck is a person (or thing) who becomes extremely popular on the internet for some positive reason, but as their popularity takes off and people dig into their past, they quickly become an object of outrage and hatred. WHO USES MILKSHAKE DUCK?
Milkshake Duck is primarily used by those who are social media savvy and spend a lot of time immersed in internet culture. https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/milkshake-duck/ ![]() In December 2017, Oxford Dictionaries announced that the phrase was a runner-up as "word of the year", losing out to "youthquake".[3] In January 2018, Australia's Macquarie Dictionary named "milkshake duck" its 2017 "word of the year"

5. Sounds like the guy who claimed to find shrimp in his Cinnamon Toast Crunch
I'm trying to find the details, but he seems to be the target now.
The best example was Ken Bone, that nerdy sweater guy during the Clinton/Trump debate who everyone fell in love with, then turned out to be a racist sex offender or something. And there was the kid whose mom posted the video of him talking about how he was bullied at school and didn't want to go, and it turned out the family were racists. |

14. Cuckold
It's a reference to cuckold. It's an accusation that people are guilted into being liberals by their social groups and are afraid to stand up to them.

15. I think this one is in reference to Aimee Challenor, a now-ex Reddit Administrator.
VERY TLDR, Aimee was promoted to Administrator on Reddit and was hailed as something of a triumph for her appointment as a transgender Admin, but it rapidly resulted in the exposure that her father imprisoned, tortured, and raped a ten year old, and her husband had made public statements supporting pedophilia. She later hired her father as her political campaign manager. Due to this problematic past, her name started to trend on Reddit, which then instituted a blanket ban wave on any/all posts/posters mentioning her name, though ostensibly Challenor claimed each case was transphobic.
As a result, hundreds of Reddit communities went "Private" in protest, essentially a Reddit blackout. It caused a huge tidal wave of backlash against Aimee as well, since the banwaves existed simply for mentioning someone's name. Tens of millions of users/communities participated in the blackout, and Reddit swiftly removed Challenor from their employ.
