Cuomo press sec: 'No flight where accuser was alone with the governor, a single press aide & a NYS'
Cuomo’s press secretary, Caitlin Girouard, dismissed Boylan’s allegations.
"As we said before, Ms. Boylan's claims of inappropriate behavior are quite simply false," Girouard said in a statement. Girouard cited flight logs detailing Cuomo’s plane trips in Oct. 2017, noting that there was "no flight where Lindsey was alone with the governor, a single press aide and a NYS" as she claimed in the blog post. Cuomo’s press secretary also cited a joint statement from several former aides who shared flights with the governor and Boylan during that period – John Maggiore, Howard Zemsky, Dani Lever and Abbey Fashouer Collins – who denied the event occurred as Boylan described. "We were on each of these October flights and this conversation did not happen," the aides said. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/cuomo-aide-denies-lindsey-boylan-claim-governor-asked-her-to-play-strip-poker-during-2017-flight ...to be clear, not taking a position on this accusation (which I think should be taken seriously and pursued if found credible by appropriate investigators), just providing the rebuttal.

1. There will be more allegations against Democrats across board . . .
in the coming months and years. Recalls too as well as impeachments.
Disenfranchised and suppression voting bills and RW judges in favor of them going all the way up to the US SC. The GOP do not have the numbers and are losing more party members and I presume either they don't care or are just plain in denial. ![]() |

2. Cue the 'sex scandal'!
Boylan ran against Jerry Nadler, 2020 election, getting 20% of the vote.
2 bit bet she launches a campaign on the back of this story. We'll wait & see who comes to her defense in supporting her campaign against a Dem target. I am really glad the entire team with whom she worked, came out with this stayement of bs. Why does the sex scandal always come out in a election campaign, again? Problem is, I'd totally support her IF her story wasn't now debunked, as she tells it. But fk the opportunisim if it was enhanced for salacious impact & in an approaching election cycle,. Go ahead & Raise your Profile but the 'nothing like a good old sex scandal' approach is becoming overused & demeans those who's case is legitimate. When the very group of people who know you professionally & personally, work with you every day & make a clear statement proving the scandal didn't quite happen, or happen at all, as told, Because They Were All Actually In The Same Room, then what was it all worth? Who's planning a run against Cuomo? Will be interesting to see where she lands in 2022. This salacious sex scandal bs that really sorta, never actually happened but..but.... Really pisses me off. Roger Stone, king of sex scandal political targeting & David Sirota (ahem, Tara Reade) would be proud...🤮 |

recall / falsely accuse Democratic governors out of their offices. Follow the money of the recallers/accusers.

9. I began to wonder when it was mentioned it was on a taxpayer owned jet
The state of NY’s aircraft fleet is all turboprop, not jets.

15. That's a good point. I just did some google searches, no direct references to type of aircraft but..
...one article said the flight from Albany to Westchester, which is probably about 90% of his flights, is 1 hour by helicopter (the most common mode of transportation) and 45 minutes by plane. That's NOT a jet!
Why would the state own a jet for official business? The state's only about 300 miles from east to west. |

19. Yeah, his primary fixed wing is a Beechcraft King Air
But I think it’s mostly helicopters that he uses. On a side note, in an interview with Howard Stern last year he talked about the rickety, sometimes scary condition the state owned King Air is in and that he doesn’t like to fly on it.

Are you a pilot? I am and I own my own Cessna, my ex was an F14 pilot and my Dad flew F4s. You?

26. Nah, just an aviation nerd.
I’d like to learn to fly but honestly I’m not very detail oriented and so I think I’d probably hurt myself or someone else in the process of trying to learn. Sometimes you gotta know your limits, I guess.
The F-4 is my absolute all time favorite military jet. I bet you have been treated to some great stories. |

25. That was another thing that I saw online - he and many of his administration are concerned about....
....the age and condition of the NYS aircraft fleet.
Bottom line, this story is very suspicious, especially since it came out in the midst of the "scandal" of the nursing home deaths, which Cuomo has taken total responsibility for and making no excuses. |

22. Like all such charges this should be taken seriously
which means investigated. Look at details, see what matches up. See if others come forward. If he did it, he is unfit to be governor. If not, then he stays.

31. So the game is on to take down Cuomo.
He's a nice man but also a tough politician who has often been underestimated.
Hopefully those coming after him don't cry about 'bullying' when he starts to punch back. He's a good governor, and the crybabies couldn't even do a fraction of the job he's done in facing down the pandemic and the Trump admin. |
