Just got my shot of Moderna

Sitting waiting out the required 15 minutes. I’m in MA, been trying to schedule for a week, I guess I got lucky this morning after reloading the page a hundred times.

1. I'm getting mine Thursday afternoon.

I haven't had a haircut in more than a year, because, obviously, I don't want to sit for 15 minutes while someone is hovering that close to me. That thought just makes me cringe. Another four weeks, then the second Moderna jab, then another couple weeks and I can finally get my "head cut off", as my father used to call it when I was a kid.

4. Good. I got my first shot today and am tired of my now shoulder length hair.

I get my second dose of Pfizer on 3/16 and plan to get a haircut on 3/30, in fact I think I will make the appointment now!

ON EDIT-I have an appointment with the woman who has cut my hair for the past 25 years on March 31st at noon. I will tip her all the tips she should have gotten but for the plague.

Dose #2 wiped me out for a day but it seems my reaction was more severe than most.

I get Moderna #2 in 16 days. I had a bit of fatigue the next day after #1. It was gone by day 2.

6. We got our 2nd Moderna on Friday.

1st one, just a sore arm for a couple of days. 2nd one, packed a punch. Very fatigued and muscle pain all over for 24 hours. Definitely worth it though and am so relieved to have that behind us.
