I dunno know about anyone else here, but I fully expect Ryan's youth and vigor to prove

too much for Old Joe to take. All that P90X. He's *got* this. In fact, if Ryan doesn't CINCH this thing tonight, it clearly shows the GOP is in disarray. There's NO WAY Paul can lose this.

I expect that Ryan will win this HANDILY. I think Ryan will talk about his budget the same way he talks about his marathon time, and his mountain climbing, and they will declare him a winner. In fact, if he doesn't show he can HANDILY defeat JOE BIDEN, he is showing he CLEARLY unfit for office. *ANY* office.

Unlike Romney, who doesn't appear to believe anything, Ryan BELIEVES his own press. He really does think he is the economic genius boy wonder of the Republican party. I think he will be earnestly and sincerely batshit nuts. I am hoping that people recognize the crazy when they see it.

So, we have cable news, a ratings driven industry, and every other for profit source out there to some extent, constantly creating fake controversy. If they didn't they'd have no meat. When they do they sway the very core of our countries political system. But hey, they're making ratings and racking in the dough. What else matters?

side and 'a MUST WIN', a 'if Biden doesn't win it will never stop their momentum and all is lost' for ours.

It's bullshit. We should be playing the hand we're dealt instead of sticking our heads in the sand and just not watching.

That is how they win. That is how Al Gore 'said he invented the internet'. (aside: no he didn't) That is how Dean's scream gets done. It's bullshit.

We need to play the hand we're dealt and relentlessly.

If Paul Ryan doesn't win this debate HANDS DOWN, it will be clear that the GOP is in disarray.

First of all, you're 100% correct. Hands down, no argument in the right of it.

Now, what do we do about it? Don't say "the Democratic party/surrogates need to debunk this, because they do. And the are ignored because that's not what "sells papers" in this day and age.

I think we should boycott the asinine media (and i use that term lightly) sources which spread this propaganda BS. Unsubscribe, turn them off, and send them letters letting them know why they're now dead to us. Then we send letters to their sponsors explaining the same. Instead we keep watching/reading them and literally begging them for fairness. Guess what? It doesn't work. They need us, our viewership, our money to their sponsors a lot more than we need them. Hell, we need a hole in the head more than we need them!

So, what's the solution in your opinion?

He is young and strong and expectations should be shy high. Anything less and he's toast, finished, shrinkled up, flaccid, vaporized, and melted like a wet Wicked Witch of the West. As for Biden, huge handicap. If he stays on his feet and doesn't drool, he wins.

teach us a thing or two about modern debate. With the formidable momentum of last week's debate, there is NO WAY, old Joe Biden, elderly, gaffe prone old geezer stands a chance against Mr. Wonderful.

Biden's got far more experience, he's not afraid to throw punches, and he's probably the smartest man in Washington. He's been doing debates for longer than many of us have been alive, and he shows no signs of age slowing him down.

And after that first debate between Rmoney and Obama, I expect there's very little in the way of social norms that would hold him back from really ripping into Ryan.
