2. Yeah, but...
74 million people voted to re-elect Trump after he basically killed a quarter of a million Americans through gross incompetence and wilful negligence.
Why would they do that? Why would the voters in Texas be any different? I don't understand it either. ![]() |

14. Maybe it's just me but,
former President Nazivomit didn't have 74 million people vote for him. ES&S voting machines tabulated a large part of the 74 million votes for him. He knew. Why else would he be so vehemently upset that he lost? He was told he'd receive the largest amount of votes for president ever. What they didn't count on was that every Democrat and all others of conscience braved Covid-19 to vote and make sure the most repulsive president and candidate ever would not be reelected. That's why President Joe Biden received over 81 million votes. They figured us libs would be afraid and stay at home or vote by mail. Hence, the DeJoy Postmaster General fiasco. They grossly underestimated our resolve.

They will re-elect.
I truly hope Beto runs for Senate or governor. I think he might just have a chance. |

Hell, if you held an election tomorrow I bet Cruz would be re-elected. He was already on hannity, an he said it was okay, he was alright to be a dad and a state senator at the same time. Absolution granted by Fox baby!

8. If the Federal government passes voter reform, nil.
Texas is still using antiquated voting machines that don't leave a paper trail which has me believing they are really deep purple.

16. not everywhere. Trust me. We are using paper trail machines in all of our large cities
and a good number of our other counties.
We have a thing called voting centers, which means you can vote at any precinct location in your county on Election Day - not just the one in your home precinct. In order to do this we had to upgrade our equipment'; we had to be able to check in anyone in the county at any location, and generate the correct ballot for that voter. . A voter can check in at any location, vote on a touch screen which then generates the printed ballot. The printed ballot is then scanned. Total paper backup on every single ballot. Once we log a voter in, we can generate an access code to the touch screen that will pull up the correct ballot for that voter. It is so cool. I believe around 40 percent of our counties are now using voter centers. We had 300 available voting locations here on Election Day; I have 6 within 10 minutes of my house. Houston had 700 I believe. We are getting purpler every year. Our biggest problem has been voter turnout. Democrats have been depressed for so long because we had so many unopposed Republicans that the only time we get halfway decent turnout is for President and Governor. That has been showing change for the past 2 cycles and we are working hard to make it better. |

4. My daughter and 9 year old granddaughter
Also slept in the car in their driveway. She has a mobile home that she isn’t living in because of mold. She is currently living with my granddaughter in a travel trailer. But the power went out and they had to sleep in the car on Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Make sure every Texan knows about how their government abandoned them(Cruz) and how Abbot lied about the real cause. The TEXAS SIZED LIE.

11. A state experiment in MBA cutthroat capitalism to serve the rich & exploit everyone else
Just-in-time, minimalist delivery of services with no provision, anticipation, or expectation that things could go wrong.
They didn't even shrink the government well by contracting with private industry to perform the same duties. Total failure. A failure as grand as the Soviet economy. |

Plus, how much of all the money and assistance that will pour into the state will actually go to people in need? Or will the money be siphoned off and grifted by the insufferable monsters who rule.
