My brother the evangelical Obama hater Voted - and not for Romney

He early voted since they'll be on vacation voting week. He HATES Obama. Not enough to shoot him but if he said he thought Satan himself came to earth in the form of Barack Obama I would not be surprised.

But he told me he could not and did not vote for Mitt Romney.

The Mormon thing already bothered my brother but he was willing to overlook it if Romney's positions would help accomplish what my brother thought needed done in America.

It was the flip flopping on abortion several times in one day that got to my brother. So he stepped into the booth and cast his vote for the issues on the ballot and all the down races - but did not cast a vote for POTUS.

This is the brother I lamented several weeks ago, who for more than a year has posted the most hurtful racist and bigoted hate on Facebook.

I'm telling you DU, if Mitt has lost my brother, he MAY have lost the race.

And Willard, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your constant dishonesty and low character gave my almost estranged brother and I a chance to have a real conversation about something other than the weather, his grandkids or sports and gave us a little bit of bonding.

Doesn't seem like such an honourable or nice person.

I think a lot of the reasons these people get away with having such hateful and intolerant views is that hardly anyone calls them on their bullshit. "Oh, that's just the way he talks and we don't discuss politics that much...", etc.

Bull.

Not just for this election but for the country and future. Maybe republicans are waking up and seeing the light....realizing that they have been duped and used. The GOP will never repeal Roe v Wade because they can use it every election to manipulate their voters. Their ace in the hole.

Good for your brother! I'm really surprised that more Christiana don't start thinking about it: Garden of Eden in Missouri???? Jesus in U.S.???? You die and get your own planet???? Not what I learned in Sunday School.

(I don't having thing aganst religion. I dislike Romney not his religion.}

Reports from my childhood friends in Georgia:
The Paulistas either will not vote or will vote for Gary Johnson.
And the evangelicals won't vote for Romney because he's a Mormon.
