I don't care if that crap gets made by Teamsters getting holiday pay.

to be boycotting. Generally I don't consider political reasons in my thinking when I buy stuff. That's just me though.

I wish I was in a position where I could make a big difference, like a millionaire or something but I'm just trying to get by right now. Many of us are struggling in this economy.

I said I don't consider political reasons a major factor in what I might buy. I know this is a minority opinion but that is how I see it and is my philosophy.

I think expecting everyone to be able to stand up against EVERYTHING is unrealistic, but it's also not a good idea to stand against nothing.

We boycott Chick-Fil-A for their funding and sponsorship of groups that are virulently opposed to marriage equality, but honestly, we rarely have the extra money or access to a car to get fast food anyway, so "boycotting" fast food joints is easy for us.

Even if you can't boycott every single company that deserves it, pick a couple, make your stand, and don't beat yourself up over it.

because their hamburgers are composed of sawdust and knuckle meat.

But yeah, this just adds yet another reason to the long list I have for not eating at those places.

They serve real food raised naturally. I have not had a McDonald's burger since let me see thinking, thinking, hum last century at least not since the mid 90's

I no longer eat food like edible substance as much as possible!

However, I don't normally eat at these fast food places. BK once in a great while and I do have a friend that picks up a cup of coffee at McDonalds for me about once a week. So if they need to survive on my business, they are pretty screwed.

I agree with the sentiments expressed that we need to do what we can to support our fellow union members and with the ones that it's hard to remember all the places we must boycott to do so.

Folks need to do the best they can, get through the day and not feel guilty because they had to shop at a Wal Mart, buy lunch at Mc Donalds or did what they needed to do.

Haven't been to fast food places except when I'm traveling on business (and even then I can usually find something better than fast food) in years. When I found out I had Diabetes in 2002, I stopped eating at these places and never look back.

However, if I did eat there... I would boycott them for their anti-union practices.
