9. I do it with a DVR unit

You should be able to pick up a DVR unit locally at a big box store. I let the DVR record the program and then watch it later, fast-forwarding past everything I don’t care about, especially commercials. In the case of the impeachment, I let it run about an hour ahead and then, while it continues to record, I can watch the program and I know I can fast-forward through at least an hour of commercials before I have to worry. I can also blow past republicans.
