1. There was a good post at Salon tangentially related to this

But it means they will again try to, in a non-partisan way, further shred the safety net in order to provide corporate tax breaks (while, admittedly allowing individual tax rates to go up).

2. Finally! The Social Security benefit cuts that Americans deserve.

And cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. And food stamps.

All very bipartisan.
