How is this not Seditious Conspiracy?

Axios described a 4 hour screaming meeting with Trump in the White house in late December to use the military to seize power.

This sure seems like a conspiracy to overthrow the government and install Trump as president for life.

... if Trump had followed the advice of Powell, Byrne, Flynn, and Newman. Instead, he took the advice of Ciplione, Herschmann, Meadows, and Giuliani. Martial law was not declared, but a serious contingent of Trump’s followers wanted him to do so on December 18, 2020.

The republic barely escaped intact.
