From Andy Kim .... the Congresscritter who came in early on 1/7/21 to clean the Capitol

We have the best. Rep. Kim walks the walk instead of just talking the talk.

Damn dust and onions in my little house.

1. I feel that way every time I see

His picture. Then think of those who desecrate the Capital.

2. I had never heard of Andy Kim until I saw a picture of him on hands and knees cleaning up "the mess"

Andy showed more strength and patriotism in his actions there in the Capitol in helping to clean up
and heal America then those who sell hate and lies for millions.

Andy Kim 2032????

4. from his wiki page

Early life and career

Kim was born in Boston to Korean immigrant parents. He was raised in the Marlton section of Evesham Township, New Jersey, and attended Rice Elementary School before moving to Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and graduating from Cherry Hill High School East in 2000. Kim attended Deep Springs College for two years before transferring to the University of Chicago, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 2004 with a degree in political science.

During college, he was an intern at the United States Agency for International Development. Kim later received a Rhodes Scholarship and a Harry S. Truman Scholarship to study international relations at Magdalen College, Oxford.

Kim worked at the U.S. State Department. He served in Afghanistan as a civilian adviser to Generals David Petraeus and John R. Allen before working as a national security adviser under President Barack Obama. Kim served as a United States National Security Council official.

Funny if you have real class, skills, talent, and accomplishment you don't have to say a thing.

5. Thanks for that information, botany.

Rep. Kim truly personifies the phrase “the best and the brightest“. I’m so happy he is getting some recognition.

Then you look at the GOP and Marjorie Traitor Greene. They embrace the craziest and the immoral.

7. Uugghh how could I forget that lunatic!

In all honesty, the GOP is full of them!

Thank God he’s not running for Portman’s seat.

18. This is why Jordan is a Congressman from Ohio.

The district stretches from just west of Cleveland, just southeast of Toledo, just northwest of Columbus and just north of Dayton. See the trend?

His bluster only partially hides his underlying weakness.

14. Take a yellow underliner to his resume and this is what you would have: Univ. of Chicago,.....

.....Phi Beta Kappa, USAID, Rhodes Scholar, Truman, Oxford, State, Afghanistan, Petraeus, Allen, Obama and NSC. If you captioned a photo of him on his knees with this list and used it as a campaign poster, he should win his next election with 90% of the vote. I hope we hear a lot from him in the future.

15. He does have quite a resume.

He would be a solid candidate for President. I don't know if he would want the job or not, but he would also make a great VP if someone like Kamala Harris were running for the top spot. He's got great potential. I could also see him running for President with Buttigieg as VP, but time will reveal all of these things.

17. Isn't it great that we can now easily envision the candidacy of Black, Asian, Woman and....

....Gay people so readily. Even a presidential ticked that would be so "unbalanced", by the old standards, as Buttigieg/Kim. Thank you, again, President Obama.

12. He is my Congressman. He beat Tom MacArthur the millionaire who tried like hell to get rid or gut

Obamacare. I have 6 votes in my house that elected Andy Kim. The guy the Rs just ran against Kim was another multi-millionaire Republican who inherited a good business and ruined it like Trump.

Or I'm just in a better frame of mind to recognize and receive it.
