Anyone else received crazytown group emails from random acquaintances?

Just received one this morning from a professional acquaintance -- Qanonish conspiracy about the vaccine.

Not "bcc'd," so now another 20 crazies have my professional email address!

Fuck - she sends out this crazytown hydrochloroxiquine or whatever ("America's Front Line Doctors" ) email to me - without any knowledge or discussion of my views, just doesn't care. I recently kindly had a mentoring session with her so she has my email and made this assumption, and then shares it with 20 other loonies from her address book! Forcing me to reply all telling her I'm not interested and remove me from the list!

I better not start getting emails or confrontations from the others on the list.

Livid at these people. No sense of civility!

I've considered that.

I was polite.

We will see how it unfolds.

She had a couple others on the list who surprised me, then I realized, like me, they likely did not allow, much less invite, inclusion in the email! I can't imagine other professionals in my field would want to be included!

3. Any weird emails I get go directly into my SPAM folder without me even opening them.

We gotta protect ourselves!

I'm curious whether I will hear from some of my other colleagues on the list with similar reactions...
