As much as I enjoyed the hurt reactions to Trump's pissiness at appointees and military personnel that quit on him, or defied him. Sessions, Bar, Pence (after all I did for him...)...
There is no one, well, maybe Lindsey, that I'd rather watch be humiliated and dressed down and disowned by Trump than Ted fucking Cruz. He has cast his lot with the orange traitor, and if that happened, he'd have no where to go |

55. Treaty of Paris--1783
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Paris_(1783)
The Treaty of Paris, signed in Paris by representatives of King George III of Great Britain and representatives of the United States of America and Canada on September 3, 1783, officially ended the American Revolutionary War.The treaty set the boundaries between the British Empire in North America and the United States of America, on lines "exceedingly generous" to the latter. You might think that Cruz would actually know about this treaty, which is as much a founding document of the USA as the Declaration. It predates Texas. |

70. Regarding that "Canada"
The quote - in typical Wikipedia fashion- fails to say whether it is referring to Upper Canada or Lower Canada which both existed at that time as part of the British North American Territories. Canada -as a country - did not exist in 1783.
Canada - as a country - did not in fact exist until June 1 1867/ |

87. you of course are entirely correct about the Canadas
My point was that in some crazy foreign place like Paris, with Ben Franklin present, it was agreed that there would be a country named The United States. Just getting the Brits to surrender in the Rev War did not do that.
This Treaty created the legal entity of the USA. |

Actually, there WAS a "GENEVA CONVENTION" - in 1863 - IN GENEVA - where they met to agree on a set of rules that became known as the "First Geneva Convention."
The acts or "rules" passed at these meetings or "CONVENTIONS" became known as "GENEVA CONVENTIONS" (yeah, RULES that came out of meetings/"CONVENTIONS!" 53. Sweeeeeet burn!
Cruz is embarrassingly stupid, so stupid in fact, that he isn't embarrassed, and opens his mouth, proving the astronomical level of his stupidity. He is playing to base though, a demagogue wannabe.

63. Ted should resign and try to mend things with his wife.

I’m just kinda singing everything this morning. In a real good mood! Just heard about Nancy Pelosi’s sending an early Impeachment Valentine to the Senate, and I just got a new granddaughter! What a great news morning! |
