You know, props to Moscow Mitch...

He ratted the ship with so much zen, you almost missed the backstabs.

1. He looked that way most of yesterday.

Just my impressions: I described him yesterday to my husband as playing the old man. He acted like he needed help from his wife to stand up or his wife had to pull him up to make him stand up. I don't know which. During the Vice President swearing in, it appeared that he sat when others stood but it could have been the angle of the shot. It just looked that way. When I would look to see what he was doing he always seemed to have that "somewhere else" blank stare pointed away from the nature and place of activity.

3. McConnell is 78, had polio as a child and walks with a limp

Unfortunately, with age comes creaky and balky joints in cold weather, especially if you are sitting for awhile.

4. He was always about the power grab. But after the insurrection, I think it was a wake up call

It was a power grab for the party that he thought he could control. His party is fracturing and he has played a central role in the destruction that is the trump presidency. 400,000 Americans have died bc of him. He has a lot of blood on his hands.

7. Got a wake up call, hit the moral snooze bar

Sorry to say, whatever remorse he ever had about feeding the Trumper frenzy two weeks ago has been successfully repressed.

He's now threatening to balk on the power sharing agreement if Biden & Schumer don't agree to save the filibuster.
I think Schumer should promise Murkowski whatever she asks for if she'll cross the aisle. You can't do business with McConnell. He has no honor, no soul, no love of country.

5. Looks like drugged-induced stupor

Mitch is never to be given props for anything, he will remove your eyes and eat them while he speaks to you about how much he cares about you.

8. I was taking snark out for a walk to give scorn a brief rest.

I don't think I've ever heard professions of love coming out of Moscow Mitch's mouth.
