So is president Biden going to camp in the Rose garden ?

Since Trump did not evacuate the white house ahead of time and they have to disinfect, I wonder where president Biden and his wife are going to be ? Blair house ?

The staff always do a thorough clean during the hours between departure of one president and arrival of another. Trump leaving early so he can be in Florida before he's not president anymore will just give them more time. Add in that they contracted special (and expensive) crews to they could high speed deep clean during the time allowed and they'll get it done.

No way they allow Trump the symbolism of keeping Biden from claiming the White House on the traditional timetable.

the WH as well. With such evil cooked up in the oval office past 4 years it would be a good thing they're expelled

I've always understood that nothing at all is packed up until the outgoing President, First Lady, and any other resident family members go to Capitol Hill for the swearing in. As soon as they leave, hordes of packers and movers show up, quickly move everything old out, and then everything for the incoming family gets put in place. In normal times, all of the ceremonial stuff and the lunch with Congress and then the Parade take up many hours, they then arrive into their new home with every single thing in place.

This time, with Trump leaving town at about 8am tomorrow (or so I was told by Rachel Maddow) the packers and movers will actually get quite a head start on things.
