Are the National Guard protecting DC armed?

I haven't seen guns in the pictures I've seen of them, and there was a lot of talk in the past week or so that such forces may or may not be armed.

I'm very much hoping they are armed for this weekend and up through Biden's inauguration.

5. I saw an article earlier this evening about

National Guard troops and it listed which states were sending troops to D.C. I can't find it now, but it did say in the article that troops are authorized to shoot to kill. I don't know if they'll all be armed, though they should be.
