Suspicious package found at firehouse in Northwest DC.Suspicious package found at firehouse in Northwest DC.
I am heading there now to film / monitor the situation. On a personal note, this is somewhat near my home and I’ve become friendly with workers there; This is where I’ve gotten COVID tests about monthly this year. I’m at Van Ness where a “suspicious package” was apparently found near the fire station. I can’t get especially close but I’ll standby here with updates. Link to tweet

1. arson is a part of what the terrorists are planning, though this likely isn't part of any organized
The terrorists are actively talking about starting multiple fires in residential areas and then pinning down firefighters to prevent them from containing the blaze.
These are very soft targets and the goal is to create massive damage and civilian disruption and fear. They won't attack the hardened sites directly. that isn't their goal. disruption, death, and chaos are their goals. |

2. the feds issued a warning about IED's
National Guardsmen briefed on IED threat to Capitol The briefing comes as the Guard plans a massive show of force to prevent violence during President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration. 01/13/2021 03:33 PM EST National Guard units are being told to prepare for the possibility that improvised explosive devices will be used by individuals plotting to attack the Capitol in the days surrounding the Inauguration, according to two Guardsmen briefed this week. The briefings indicate that Washington, D.C.-area law enforcement believe the IEDs planted last week at the Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee headquarters were not an isolated incident. The individual who planted those bombs has yet to be apprehended, and FBI agents have been going door to door in D.C. this week asking residents for any photos or video they might have that could help identify the suspect, two of the residents told POLITICO. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/13/national-guardsmen-capitol-threats-459002 |
