9. My cat died last year.

Now, I was PARTICULARY close to this cat, but I was a mess for a week, a pretty down for much longer than that. If my daughter died? Yup, I'm with you. Curled up on the floor.

Perhaps he find some respite in fighting for the country, and pouring his emotion in to that.

4. Agree!

Republican Tom Cole opened his statement by acknowledging Raskin's loss and extending deepest sympathies. Then said it was inappropriate to try to 25th the Pres.

Raskin's reply was amazing. He said that he couldn't respond to the heartfelt condolences at that moment, and he wanted to refute his "dear friend".

He words are powerful. Worth listening to his whole statement.
