'The most masculine person ever':

Trump aide objects after Fox News host asks if president is 'emasculated'

January 11, 2021
David Edwards

Trump campaign spokesperson Hogan Gidley objected to a question from Fox News which suggested that President Donald Trump has been "emasculated" after losing the 2020 election.

"With the social media crackdown, does he feel emasculated?" Fox News host Bill Hemmer asked Gidley in the Monday interview. "Especially as he heads out of office."

"Look, I wouldn't say emasculated," Gidley replied. "I mean, the most masculine person ever I think to hold the White House is the president of the United States."

Gidley went on to accuse liberals and technology companies of a "systematic attack against not just him, but against 75 million Americans, who disagree with the socialist-communist vision that Democrats have for this country."

who all served in the Union army during the Civil War. Or former generals Jackson, W. H. Harrison, and Taylor? Or Theodore Roosevelt? Or even George HW Bush, who survived being shot down in WWII? Or JFK?

My list of "presidents more masculine than Trump" would probably include all of them.

And two horses shot out from under him. The "most masculine person" used bone spurs as an excuse not to serve, and thinks soldiers like Washington who did serve their country are "losers".

He spends more time and money on his hair than just about any woman. He wears make-up. He hides in his bunker. He cries every time says something he doesn't like. He has to lie and boast about his (lack of) achievements. And this is supposed to be the most masculine president ever?

What a crock of B.S.- speaking of B.S., that is the only area Trump can lay claim to being the best ever.

For starters, how about Theodore Roosevelt. And T.R. was not only a man's man, he possessed a lot of intelligence and wisdom to go with it. There are certainly other choices but he came to my mind first. Roosevelt grew up sickly and asthmatic but whipped himself into fine physical shape and was an accomplished boxer, among other things.

On October 14, 1912, while campaigning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Roosevelt was shot by a saloonkeeper named John Flammang Schrank.[243] The bullet lodged in his chest after penetrating his steel eyeglass case and passing through a thick (50 pages) single-folded copy of the speech titled "Progressive Cause Greater Than Any Individual", which he was carrying in his jacket.[244] Schrank was immediately disarmed (by Czech immigrant Frank Bukovsky), captured, and might have been lynched had Roosevelt not shouted for Schrank to remain unharmed.[245][246] Roosevelt assured the crowd he was all right, then ordered police to take charge of Schrank and to make sure no violence was done to him.[247] As an experienced hunter and anatomist, Roosevelt correctly concluded that since he was not coughing blood, the bullet had not reached his lung, and he declined suggestions to go to the hospital immediately. Instead, he delivered his scheduled speech with blood seeping into his shirt.[248] He spoke for 90 minutes before completing his speech and accepting medical attention. His opening comments to the gathered crowd were, "Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot, but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose."[249]

None of the others as far as I know have to constantly reassert their supposed bona fides and then have to back it up by assuring they are surrounded by folks willing to echo these outlandish, boorish, and clearly incorrect bits of braggadocio.

Not that there is any truth at all to his claims, whether with regards to appendage size, intelligence (!), crowd size, "least racist person in the room," etc., etc. ad nauseum, bit frankly I suspect anyone truly near the upper extreme in terms of some mythical scale of "most masculine" would likely be a horrific socially-unfit lost soul.

It was Andy Jackson. Wasn't a very nice person, but he was a mean, tough SOB.

This the the guy who, in a duel stood still and let the known best marksman in the country shoot him, near the heart, then he stood his ground and fired back. Andrew didn't even know anyone who had bone spurs. He would have beaten Trump half to death with his cane for what he did last week.

Honey Badgers were calm and mild mannered before they were tutored by Jackson.

They're really pushed all in on that 75 million figure, haven't they? It was 74.1 million votes, Hogan, and Biden/Harris polled 81.2 million votes. Your emasculated boy lost by 7.1 million votes to a ticket with a woman on it. Sad!
