My response to Morning Edition 1-11-21

I was listening to the Morning Edition interview with two members of the so-called Problem Solvers Caucus - the two interviewees being U.S. Reps Dean Phillips and Dusty Johnson. I turned it off immediately, when in response to Rachel Martin's question about whether the president needed to be removed from office, Dusty Johnson opined that the "president does have some culpability..." for recent violence at the capitol. Culpability!? I'm fatigued and frustrated listening to mealy mouthed apologists for Trump. The man is clearly a menace, as are craven republican representatives who are being deliberately obtuse regarding Trump's seditious incitement to insurrection. Moreover, the preposterous Problem Solvers Caucus is simply a fig leaf under the banner of "bipartisanship" - simply a fantasy given nearly universal republican resistance to any policy that doesn't benefit the 1/10 of 1%. The violence at the capitol was no less than a coup against the government in an attempt overturn a fairly decided election. Don't be fooled by the bumpkins. They're merely muddle-headed foot soldiers for an already radicalized movement within the republican party. You know it and I know it. Please do not insult your listenership by giving air time to disingenuous political hacks that are trying to normalize this disgusting and treasonous behavior. NPR management needs to grow a pair.

1. I heard that

Sorry drivel too. Pissed me off.

But you should have heard the repeated talking points from my traitorous Senator, Daines, try to equivocate repeatedly by rerunning his list of talking points of placation while confirming that he still has his face planted on -45's anal sphincter.

Guess I'll have to write him another letter demanding his resignation. He spent a lot of time whining about calls for his resignation.

2. Don't attack the messenger

It was a NPR reporter that first put forth hard questions at a presser. They have been on top of this the whole time and, I may add, they have been the best source for Covid info.

3. NPR had an indicted criminal on last week "explaining" an assault...

...on the US Capitol.

I keep saying that it's the equivalent of asking Ted Bundy to justify his views on women.

NPR apparently has morphed into Fox "news."
