Can we/Should we impeach Pence? What protections do we have when both aren't fit for duty.

By refusing to invoke the 25th, Pence is behaving carelessly.

This nation cannot and should not be forced to go two weeks not knowing who the fuck is in charge.

This needs to end Monday.

1. He can choose the 25th or

Get hammered by the 14th (section 3) even after he leaves office.

2. Definitely go after Pence, too. He is absolutely complicit in Trump's scheme.

3. No. It looks like Biden, Pelosi and Schumer are fine with him.

5. The enemy of my enemy is my friend

Pence is on the outs with Trump, so he is useful where he is at the moment as the only person in the Executive Branch that cannot be fired. Plus there'd be zero support for it among th GOP, and you'd lose a handful of Dems too.

6. Not going to happen.

Im absolutely confident that Pelosi could not get enough Democratic votes to impeach Pence. I doubt shed personally support such action.

7. Not going to happen. Pence has no power after he leaves office . It's Trump and his supporters

that we will have to keep a watch on.

9. Pence did not invoke violence

When push came to shove on Wednesday, he followed the Constitution and wound up getting targeted for assassination as a result. We should not punish people who do the right thing. I disagree with Pence on nearly everything and am still upset he supported the election stealing lie for so long. But he committed to a peaceful transfer of power and all he got was a permanent target on his back for the remainder of his life.
