I don't play golf, but...

I don't feel left out; I picked up my Presidential Medal of Freedom at the 99-cent store down the street. It actually cost $2.49, but I figured what the hell. You only live once.

Trump to honor retired pro golfers with Medal of Freedom.

Player is South African & Sorrenstam is Swedish. (Although she is naturalized some time ago.)
Admittedly, they were all time greats. (IMO, Annika is the best woman player ever. A ball striking machine. She didn't overpower a course. She sliced it like a surgeon.)
This seems a symbolic, nonsense gesture by a guy who wishes he could actually play the game, instead of cheating at it, and lying about his scores.
Were they great? Yes. Did they do anything to get a medal of freedom? Not seeing it.
