5. Yes, time to reach out and find common ground . . .

Then we'll be ready to move on . . .

3. Horseshit. I've been a hard-copy subscriber for 2 decades.

I understand where the NYT positions themselves, and why, and that it is far too too centrist for much of the American Left. Progressives are always going to be dissappointed by the NYT and their "journalistic objectivity".

However, today was scathing. The headline was 4 syllables: TRUMP INCITES MOB. Peter Baker's front page piece was merciless.

Did YOU read the A section today? Did you read their editorial? I did.

6. Haven't sent them a penny since they served as Cheney's propaganda spigot -

In the runup to the Iraq invasion.

And that sorry episode was no outlier in my opinion from Whitewater through the email "scandal" they've been blasting bullshit about the Clintons nonstop.

The accusation is always page 1 and the exoneration only rates 2 paragraphs on page 5.

Keep reading it if you want. No skin off my teeth either way.

Good of you to imply that I'm just too dense to grasp the nuance of journalistic neutrality.

8. I didn't imply that.

but by your own admission, you are basing your opinion on the past not the present.

Even Maggie Haberman (who is the writer you are citing as being Cheney's propaganda spigot, and, yes, I am still mad about that, too) was scathing today. The facts are all you need to damn this Administration.

9. I believe Judith Miller is the NY Times reporter that

was Cheney's (remember Scooter Libby) propagandist.

btw - She is on Fox News all of the time now.

She should be in jail.

12. OK, you are right.

Haberman is the WH reporter; she has to be concerned with maintaining access.

11. I'll take you at your word, I am very prickly lately and may have jumped to a wrong conclusion

But once I'm done I am done.

There is a restaurant in my little corn town that I felt slighted my wife 17 years ago - it's been sold since then - but I have never been back.

I acknowledge that prickly/proud asshole trait in myself, and apologize for getting my hackles up

10. Boston Globe has been useless as well. Playing it straight while insanity reigns.
