New fence going up around Captiol

Washington Post love updates:

Crews quickly began erecting tall black fences around the perimeter of the Capitol grounds just after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Two Capitol Police officers said the fencing was being assembled around the Capitol as a precautionary measure after Wednesday’s events.

The solution is more about the level of response. The police were too soft. They needed tear gas or rubber bullets or firehose.. if that fails real bullets.

From what I understand, it was pretty chilly yesterday. Getting soaked with water in cold weather is a quick way to take down even the most determined mobbers.
