This song is from over 90 years ago (1929) that swept the nation. It express my feelings today as we will soon be rid or Misters Trump and McConnell and have a new President and two new senators. Have a listen and see it you don't feel just like they did back in those early days when they first heard this song.

6. My Rat rod.

I had always wanted to build one and found what used to be a 40 Chevy Pick Up so I brought it home in pieces and built it back from scratch to look like Towmater from the cars movie. Kids recognize it immediately. Here is a link to a few pictures in one of my Facebook albums.

But for the past several Democratic conventions, I don't think I've heard it even once. And I always wonder why. Why don't they play "Happy Days Are Here Again" any more at the Democratic convention? Please, Democrats, bring it back. It really is such a happy, positive, optimistic, uplifting song. And it's part of the history and tradition of the Democratic Party.
