Abrams' March to the Sea

Sherman's march to the sea was designed to expedite the end of the Civil War. His army swept through Georgia to crush the soul of those who supported the traitors. His name is still an epithet in some circles.

It is delicious, that a strong, beautiful, audacious African American Woman had her own March to the Sea.

Abrams lead her army of voter registration and GOTV organizers to save the soul of our Democracy.
Her name will go down in history with the other courageous warriors.

Georgia's Rising

Thank you!

2. Though Stacey's march was a righteous one.

Sherman's, a war crime, regardless of its help in bringing the war to an end. Not to mention his post-war genocide of Native Americans (The Civil War "hero" brought his scorched-earth policy to the Plains—and wiped out Native Americans’ food supply after exiling them to reservations-- among his list of horrors).

There were many heroic Union Generals and leaders. Sherman was most certainly not one of them.

He is no hero.

3. Sherman was a brutal dick who later oversaw the crushing of Native Americans

Stacey Abrams, on the other hand, is a bonafide hero.

5. Let me be clear

I do not view Sherman as a hero. But there was a purpose to the "March".

I can think of at least two...

10. I heard she wants to run for Gov. again.

I think that whatever office she chooses, her constituents will be in a good place. She is a national treasure and should be held in high esteem, she's amazing.
