GA Sec of State Intern hangs up on White House 18 times thinking it's a hoax

An intern in Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office reportedly rebuffed 18 efforts by the White House because it was believed the outreach was a prank.

First reported by Bloomberg, unnamed junior staff hung up on the office of the world’s most powerful man several times trying to reach the state’s top election official to discuss overturning his loss in the presidential election.

Trump finally got through to Raffensperger after White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows obtained cell phone information for Raffensperger and his top aides, a top aide to the Georgia Republican told reporters.
