Tanya Roberts still alive, rep says day after reporting her death

I kept thinking of the old story about the mathematician and the bombing raids during the Second World War.

It goes, everyone asked him why he wasn't going to the shelters at night like they all were. He replied the elephant in the zoo was much larger than he was and it was okay. So, he thought it was probably safe for him to stay outside of the shelters.

A few nights later someone saw him down in the shelter and asked him why he'd changed his mind. He replied that the bombs had gotten the elephant.

Roberts was my elephant.

I was going to go into full isolation and MOPP Level IIII this morning.

Now, I guess I'm still okay to continue with the hand washing, distancing, isolation, no face touching, and the damn mask. For now.

Sorry, very poor taste. Is this really true? It seems hard to believe. How could such a fuckup of these proportions occur in this day and age?

If she is alive, I am very happy for her and her loved ones. If not, this is just such a cruel joke.

I wish people would just get it right. I mean it's not like it's actually the middle ages where they could have made an honest mistake. This is 2021! We are supposed to have safeguards against things like this these days. WTF?
