5. Wonder why the Republicans voted to overturn the veto.
It can’t be because they suddenly developed ethics so it’s odd especially since it will make it harder for them to launder money.

Or if any of those NO Votes have LLC's or Offshore accts where campaign cash may be funnelled.

15. This is probably the biggest long term benefit quietly added to the NDAA
It opens the door to RICO, mobsters & foreign laundered money.
In a big way, it exposes the purchase power of the US government by laundered foreign mobsters. I'm really surprised that certain Senate Repubs voted for the override. Is there a way for the average person to observe the sudden movement of money? Would stocks or billion $$$ property sales show a sudden trend? That would be rather fascinating if it were possible. |

12. Good news and this may have been the real reason for the dUmpster's veto, but I am also curious
how it got into the Bill and how it stayed in with mcTurtle in charge.
On a separate note, with claims of a rigged election and nefarious issues being expounded upon, why is not anyone calling out mcTurtle and the reThugs for not allowing a vote on the Voting Rights Act to protect our elections. The Dems should be pounding this issue as well as the media. |

17. DEC 3rd Statement from Warner & the Co-signers (some are R's) on the ICA
This has been in the works for a year.
WASHINGTON – U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner (D-VA), Mike Rounds (R-SD) and Doug Jones (D-AL) today applauded the inclusion of their anti-money laundering legislation in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) – the nation’s annual defense bill. In September 2019, the Senators introduced the Improving Laundering Laws and Increasing Comprehensive Information Tracking of Criminal Activity in Shell Holdings (ILLICIT CASH) Act to strengthen national security and help combat illicit financial activity carried out by terrorists, drug and human traffickers, and other criminals. https://www.warner.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2020/12/warner-rounds-jones-applaud-inclusion-of-bipartisan-anti-money-laundering-legislation-in-ndaa |

41. Thanks for the tweet post.
Watching Don Lemon a few days ago, a guest made this very point. About Warner slipping the Illegal Cash Act into the NDAA just 4 days prior to it being completed, & what it would mean for money launderers across the spectrum of pols but especially Trump Org.
Lemon's reaction was a tilt of his head & raised eyebrows. Apparantly it was a hushed enough move by Warner that even our most fierce Trump haters in the Press hadn't yet heard of it. I was surprised at that reaction & damned near sent him the tweet I'd just read on this subject. Lemon does not like Trump at all so I'd have thought he'd be on this angle of the story. It was a weird newsday so I'll give him that much. Maybe this week they'll bring it up. Bet Trump's inner circle knew of Warner's sly move. Thus the demand for a No vote on his Veto. Am looking to find just Who were the 13 that voted NO on the Senate override. Who all sided with Trump & "what did any of them have to lose?" Who wouldn't want the power of the ICA considering Trump's money laundering is no secret |
