CNN just reporting Trump APPARENTLY to sign covid relief bill this evening. A ballroom at
Mar-A-Lago has been "set up" for the "ceremony".
I know it must be reported, but it does NOT need to be televised. This steaming pile should not be allowed to further pollute the airwaves by strutting on stage before a national audience to put out the fire he poured gasoline onto!

Once again blowing something up and then going right back to where it started. Taking full credit for the bill now of course. So magnanimous.

17. Excellent observation, hedda_foil!
And even game show hosts have a number of responsibilities and make some contributions to humanity through their work. Having still never worked a day in his miserable life, Donald Trump actually is what his father Fred must often have called him: “Worthless.”

Exactly! This is always about the whiny little baby getting the most attention. Meanwhile people are starving and trying desperately to hang on to the roofs over their heads and all he cares about is being in the limelight.
It's revolting! He does not give one damn about the people in this country. How can anyone NOT hate this loathsome, disgusting POS? |

Trump has indicated he will sign stimulus and government spending bill into law, averting shutdown
By Seung Min Kim, Jeff Stein, Mike DeBonis and Toluse Olorunnipa Dec. 27, 2020 at 7:26 p.m. EST BREAKING: President Trump has indicated that he will sign the stimulus bill into law before Monday night’s deadline and avert a government shutdown, two people familiar with his plans said Sunday evening, a move that would release $900 billion in stimulus funds as soon as possible. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because the matter remained fluid and they weren’t authorized to disclose Trump’s plans. They said Trump had repeatedly changed his mind on the matter. Trump’s decision to sign the bill came less than a week after he demanded changes to it and had suggested he would refuse to sign it into law. The government was set to shut down on Tuesday if Trump did not sign the bill into law. The spending package also included a new round of stimulus checks, unemployment aid, and small business assistance, among other things. Trump hinted that there had been a development on Sunday, when he wrote on Twitter that there was “Good news on Covid Relief Bill. Information to follow!” Congress overwhelmingly passed the bipartisan bill on Monday night, and Trump released a video on Tuesday demanding changes. He said, among other things, that the bill should have authorized stimulus checks of $2,000 per person instead of the $600 payments that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had secured. Trump also wanted spending cuts to be included in the package. Before the video was posted, Mnuchin had said that the stimulus checks could be sent as soon as this week. It’s unclear whether the roughly week-long delay would push back the issuance of the payments. Read more: https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2020/12/27/trump-stimulus-shutdown-congress/ |

27. This is all about him wanting attention so we hoped
and waited for the $2,000 which he knew we would never get, but everyone is paying attention to him with bated breath.
So now he signs the $600 one after making everyone dream about actually having enough to pay off some bills or rent... Its like saying here is the $100 bill I want to give you holding it over your head, then handing you a $1 bill and saying well aren't you happy??? This is the DU member formerly known as marlakay.

29. Trump says special surprise coming Jan 6th!
This clown is so predictable. Say he wants $2000 checks, more donations pour in. Say he has a 'surprise' in the legislature coming Jan 6th...translation, a deep red Senator or 2 will allow for the 6 hours of debate before the electoral college affirmation....more money will pour in.
Its simply amazing how no matter how many times he moves the goal posts his cult will continue to send him millions. Next he will hold rallies and tweet how Biden is doing a bad job and say he will run again in 2024....he will pocket billions from these rubes for years and years. Lets just pray Cy Vance has enough on him to actually convict this POS. |
