Jon Stewart was spot on

For a year and a half you have inundated our emails. Your Campaign has demanded a level of urgency and passion from us.

Shouldn't your urgency and passion be on the same par as your email blasts? (Or, are you not on your email list?)

last night was learning how little the voices on the left ...all of us...all of the left blogosphere, all of the left media are listened to by the people closest to the president.

Yes, Romney was "feisty" as the media is spinning. Others among us would say acting like a rabid squirrel on meth.

Yes, he took the attack to Obama, that attack is known as lying, and Romney is being called on it today.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Nate Silver has Obama's election chances up to 86%, the highest mark yet, and an Ipsos/Reuters poll today showed only a 1% gain from this post debate bounce. Big whoop.

Frankly a lot of people looked at that debate and saw a candidate who is willing to do anything, say anything, at any time, and they simply aren't going to trust him to lead this country.

This is one debate. After one debate, Mondale looked like he could clean the floor with Reagan, after one debate, Kerry looked like a winner over Bush. Let's stop freaking after just one debate.

Does Obama need to change his approach to the next debate, certainly, and I'm sure that he and his crew are getting right on it. But that is what the first debate is for, to scout out what your opposition is going to do. Now we know, and adjustments will be made accordingly.

Poor preparation, poor strategy, lack of understanding who they were debating.

Plouffe, Axelrod, and Prez, get it right next time.
