or a voter for any Democrat at all.
Let the other side have these voters.
Obama has as much right as anybody else to get angry and show it. If Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh are offended then that would be a sign the president is doing something right.

(1,022 posts)Obama has been President of the United States of America for 4 years; the notion that people would suddenly be afraid of the "scary, angry black man" doesn't make any sense to me. Anyone who claims this would not have voted for him anyway.
the american people like president obama (even many who don't agree with him). calling romney out on his bullshit is not going to change that.

(89,247 posts)they might not openly be racist or even think they are. but they are more likely to feel something different when a black or other minority does something than if a white guy does it.

(20,600 posts)Its silly to be afraid of offending some already racist people out there who won't vote for you anyway, show some passion and emotion when Romney starts up his nonsense and multiple deceptions/lies..

(135,425 posts)I'm trusting Obama's instincts on this.
It has nothing to do with "angry black man" stuff, though the GOP might want to shop that.
It has to do with maturity and being right. Obama's right, the huffing little twit with the greasy hair and the wild expression and the blinking eyes who is spitting with every other word is the one who is wrong on everything.

(22,143 posts)It's just a lame excuse to cover up not doing what needed to be done. The racists that would be bothered by a firm animated Obama are already on the other side.

Rush and Boortz are the overflowing cesspools of anger and bigotry every single day, and we're worried about a few black men getting angry?
Perhaps the fact that black men aren't fulfilling their fantasies of going nuts on a daily basis like these hatemongers is getting to such people.
They're the ones who are crazy, not Obama and not black people. Because emotional tirades are the privileges of those who have indulged all their lives, those who know they will get away with it. Most of us know we won't be given a pass for acting an ass.
