My Gawd the new case numbers are terrifying

in several states. California over 26,000 Floriduh 13,000, Ohio almost 10,000, New York big again.

After Christmas is going to be awful. I see people out everywhere doing Christmas shopping. What are they thinking?

a lot of people will get very careless about masks and social distancing. The fact that whatever immunity the shots confer will not be fully in effect until a week or more after the second shot. Plus, the main thing this seems to do is mitigate the severity of the disease, rather than prevent it completely.

and yesterday a judge ruled against Gov Newsom's closure of restaurants so all the restaurants are opening up again tonight. I am livid at the selfishness and greed of the average human. I hope I do not reincarnate...we as people suck big time.

Yes - it's way too high, but it seems to be stabilizing. We were seeing numbers over 10,000 roughly a week ago.
