All we need is TWO (2) GOP patriotic Senators to switch parties right now, BEFORE the GA runoff.

Then we could have a thriving economy once again, a really good chance to know COVID out, a surge in good paying jobs, worker protections, and dismantling of CITIZENS UNITED. The GA runoff would just be icing on the cake and the two GOP Senators changing parties would be heroes who save our country from fascism.

WHO?

The only two who would even come close that I could think of are named Lisa and Murkowski, and somehow that doesn't quite add up to where we would need to be.

Ask them to caucus with the Dems for a short period only.
Just one or two years to get us past COVID-19.
Odds are very much against this happening.
But, they’d be the only two that would even remotely consider this.

that they would vote with the bloc of Dem Senators. They still have the right to vote any way they wish. They'd have to BELIEVE in the benefits of Dem policies passed and enacted. So there's no guarantee that ANY Dem Senator will vote with the others. It's still a crap shoot. But if the Senate flips from the Georgia vote, the odds are better that the game will change. If some GOPers switched parties, then all the better.

but caucus with the Dems like Sanders and King.

Murkowski could do that. She lost the GOP primary and then won a Write-in campaign, which means she doesn't need the GOP.

Romney too-- doubtlessly he's more popular than Trump in Utah.

That was Richard Shelby of Alabama, a Democrat that switched to a Republican. Funny how you say "All we need" lol, like it's that easy.

Jeffords I purposely left out because I was looking for Republicans who switched to Democrats. I can't believe I forgot about Spector.

even when they "break" from the party, they do so only after receiving permission.

Romney's vote for impeachment was orchestrated. Collins' and Murkowski's occasional votes against McConnell's agenda are similarly orchestrated to give them political cover while still moving the overall right wing agenda forward.

There is not a single Republican in congress at this point who has any ethics, integrity, or patriotism.
