1. What time does Trump's Alternative Electoral College meet?

And will they fit in the blanket fort he's made in the Oval Office?

13. I heard "this morning"

But it's really just comedy. No authority or standing at all.

5. The noon tally sounds like the key one

Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania. Once we know the electors all vote as their constituents voted in those states, Trump will really have no hope.

6. So do they say how the vote went

Or do we have to wait until Congress verifies the votes?

7. CNN is keeping a running total

their website has it at 36 Biden, 56 Trump after Delaware weighed in for its favorite son, but before the bolus of noon EST votes.

8. The Electoral College

I posted this in another EC thread and thought I'd post it here as well. Details on the electoral college processes: https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/IF/IF11641#:~:text=In%202020%2C%20the%20meeting%20is,and%20one%20for%20Vice%20President.

This makes not fucking sense.

Here's a novel idea.

Everyone votes.

The votes are counted.

Whoever gets more votes is the winner.

I mean, think about it. If anyone today, anywhere, in any election in any country, were to propose the kind of process detailed in the link, we'd conclude that they were corrupt. Or insane. This is the Rube Goldberg of voting.

9. So Biden gets the 270th vote at 5pm when CA votes. Who is the biggest name on their list?

It will be a "big fucking deal" so I imagine the highest profile person gets the spotlight.

I never bothered to look up who our electors actually are, because their faithfulness was never questioned.
