"Defund the police."

I think this brazen act of sedition by more than 1/2? of Republican congress persons - many of whom were re-elected by an extremist base a month ago ‐ sheds a new light on the judgment of those who stand by the slogan.That it's not this one mere slogan that led to Dem downballot losses.

Republicans are maniacs.

But in the big picture, that never works out.

Maybe we agree. Maybe you and I both believe that police department funding is way out of proportion in city budgets. Do I think there's a less inflammatory and more productive way to express the frustration I have with this travesty? Open to it. Do I think this slogan is responsible for downballot losses of Dems. I dont see it.

Honestly, I like how Biden is handling it. He translates it to - hold LE accountable.
